- Pistol/Rifle Silhouette Shoot -
On this page you can find all of the information needed to participate in the SS Pistol/Rifle Sihouette Shoot.
This informal target match is shot every week with results due on Tuesday by midnight (central time zone). This page is a companion to the POS Pistol and Rifle Sihouette Shoots hosted on the Straight Shooters® Chat Room. For quality airguns and supplies at reasonable prices, check out Straight Shooters Main Page. Straight Shooters hosts the forum which can get lively at times but is always a good source for useful information.
Classes: Rules:
- Class 1: 18ft Pistol
- Class 2: 33ft Pistol
- Class 3: 33ft Rifle
Scoring:
- Pistols may be shot either "one handed" or "two handed"
- All guns must be shot standing, offhand.
- 2 shots are taken at each of 20 silhouettes for a total possible score of 40/40.

- Pellets just touching the "black" are a hit.
- Submit scores each week by Tuesday 11:59pm Central time. (The automated process is based on the day of week here in Texas. We have bigger days than anyone else anyway!)

Take a look at Airheaded's Week #16 Target!.Download a Silhouette! target: The suggested Targets are the Beeman 10 meter reduced silhouette targets, available from Straight Shooters. The Beeman targets are really good and "cut clean". Buy a Bunch!
